Very quaint campground. Was roomie enough for our 40’ class A. Water hook up only. Bath houses could be a little cleaner but were adequate. Will visit here again

We have stayed at this park the last three years, while taking our winter trip. As stated in the reservation notes this park does not provide electric, but our generator works well for us. This is a quite park, with clean restrooms. The lake is nice to hike around, with other trails to hike. This past January we were able to call an owl in, just above our campsite. It stay for quite awhile. About a half hour drive you can arrive in Eastpoint, FL, where you can take the bridge to St George Island, and spend the day on the beach. We are very happy with this park.

Excellent campsite in the woods. Dark sky with amazing start. Clean sites and friendly hosts. Options for swimming and hiking. Could hear the owls at night!
Only one small thing: noice of the hunting dogs starting early in the morning. Even a dog and vehicle on the campgrounds. That doesn't match our expectations of a natural environment and camping in a state forest.

We had a great time. Trails, kayak access to beautiful water, and endless dirt roads for cycling! The host, Jay, was really helpful, and his son kept us stocked with firewood and fire starter. Our highlight was meeting his wonderful young dog, Bruno - our dog thoroughly enjoyed playing and running with him! We highly recommend this gem of the Apalachicola NF!

Wonderful! Campground, nice hiking at the campground and beautiful places to go to in the surrounding area. The campground was quiet, it was kept clean. The hosts were terrific. All in all I could not have asked for a better experience. I'll be back

Largest campsites of any COE, State, County, Natl Forest RV campgrounds we have visited. More like a "lot" than a "site." Dead silent, thanks to courteous and few campers and isolated location.

Loved it and will come back. The water in the men's room shower was running 24 7 because the valve was broken from it freezing and couldn't be shut off. The host has asked that it be repaired. Also the host had no idea who is coming and going through the national park website because his access to that site has been shut down. We had to run a squatter off our reserved site. Not complaining, just constructive comments.

The host and their family were great. The host greeted me when I arrived and explained that the shower was running continuously due to damage from the recent polar storm. The host also helped direct me to a clearing that was good for stargazing. The host’s son was helpful as well, and gave me directions that helped me find certain native plant species that I wanted to see.
The stargazing was great, the campsite was clean. The restrooms were always clean and stocked with soap, toilet paper, & paper towels. The shower running continuously was not a problem because the water was comfortably warm and draining well. Overall great experience.
