Had a nice time for a long weekend on 4th of July. 4th of July campground BBQ was delicious. People here are very friendly. Not only in the campground, but restaurants and stores. The only problem was the change in sites from shade to field, so it was very hot and the fire ants were bad. Also, no picnic tables and the umbrellas at the pool were being put back when we were leaving, so the pool area was hot.

Christine, Eric, and Susie were absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating with our needs and issues that happened! I would recommend Sun Outdoors!

Traveling with family, we both make reservations one week for “Elite Sites” and agreed to a lock in fee of $35 to $37. Within 2 days of our reservation being made, we were both reassigned to different sites on opposite ends of the park without calling us. The only way we found out, we were moved as our family told us they were moved into our site then we checked Red Bud internet. Then before we can even arrive we reassigned 6 different times. So much for agreeing to a “Lock In Fee”. We ending up on a “Grass Lot, which is not level” that was meant for a full size mobile home as the sewage connection is 40 feet from the utility connections. Therefore we have to purchase an additional 20 feet for sewage hose for our 5th wheel. They did agree remove the “ Lock in Fee”. Then the nightmare began regarding our balance owed because the manager will never return your calls or is out of the office or the office is closed for Mark Luther King Birthday 2026. Maybe they need the entire office staff needs to be fired and a new manager hired.

New management has come in to the park, since then various activities are being canceled or “rescheduled”, issues are not being handled efficiently if at all, and management seems more concerned with cutting costs than ensuring the park is a positive and safe place to live and vacation.

This is a huge park. It's extremely well maintained, even though people appear to be able. To do anything to their lots, they are all neat tidy, and some of them.So beautiful. There's lakes, swimming pools, and I do mean plural bathhouses, all kinds of places to do activities that are apparently going on all the time. A wonderful memorial at the dog park as well as the veterans memorial.
