First camping trip ever and Manatee Springs RV Park made it such a great experience. From the moment we pulled in, they greeted us and directed us right to our site, which was really nice and took the stress out of arriving. Our site was a decent size and had plenty of shade from the trees, which we loved.

I don’t have a lot to compare it to since this was our maiden voyage into camping, but everything felt welcoming and well thought out. They have a nice dog park with bags and a trash can, which made traveling with our pup easy and convenient. We didn’t make it to the community fire pit night, but it was really nice that they offered it as an option for guests who want that experience.

Also, if you bring your bikes, it’s an easy and enjoyable ride over to Manatee Springs State Park. There’s a bike lane on a smaller local road, which made it feel safe and relaxed.

Overall, it was a peaceful, friendly, and well-run park, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our first RV experience.

We stayed for a long weekend recently. Clean and quiet park with nice people always socializing. One of our nights, Jim set up a campfire that about a dozen of us attended. Great memories.

Nice, quiet 55+ rv park near Chiefland and a bike ride to Manatee Springs State Park. They have a small dog park, some open spaces and trails, and a laundry. The management is friendly and helpful. I stayed for a month, and felt the monthly rate was appropriate. I always take a photo of the electric meter kwh on arrival if there is one, and on leaving, and glad I did. My electric bill for a month was 3 times what it should have been. Not sure what the problem was but it was corrected.

Small, quiet, very well kept - with no amenities. We loved it!! No noise. Non loud party people. Most live there full time and keep their places neat and clean. If you go check out the Suwanee Landing red neck restaurant - great outdoor dive with food and live music. Other than that there’s nothing around. We were passing through and enjoyed our stay. 45’ towing. 3 dogs and a cat! Oh, very cheap!!

We stayed at this park for several weeks and loved it! The park is beautiful with lots of live oaks that are illuminated at night. It is very quiet and peaceful. The camp hosts, Jim and Linda, are so kind! Our dog Marley really enjoyed our stay and loved the dog park. I highly recommend this RV park!
