White Oak Boat Landing is a centuries-old campsite, as evidenced by recovered pottery pieces. The District restored the shoreline and aquatic habitat by replanting eroded areas and constructing a designated boat ramp. White Oak Boat Landing is located on the south end of Porter Lake and offers a pavilion, picnic tables, pedestal grills, fire rings, portable toilet. and three camping site available by reservation only. Day Use is permitted from dawn to dusk in the designated Day Use areas.

White Oak Landing offers a picturesque lake and campground, though the water level was low during the visit. The site was on a slope, but it allowed for easy RV parking. While the road was bumpy with soft spots, the overall cleanliness and convenience of the area were appreciated, along with the need for mosquito repellent and toilet paper.

Not bad park clean only down side is one of the out houses does not lock and they were just about out of toilet paper but other than that has been an enjoyable experience still would like to know if there are Gators in the lake have not seen any thus far..

Definitely bring mosquito repellent & toilet paper. Nice Pretty clean looking lake and campground. Some picnic tables are covered and some are not. Sweet back in right into you campground site for easy unloading & loading

It was cold but still nice off lake water was low .camp site was on slope but had sand and rocks I made level spot to park RV .the road to it was wide but sandy soft spots and washed out so bumpy but manageable
