What Guests Are Saying
Encore Bulow RV Resort offers a charming old Florida plantation atmosphere with beautiful oak trees and a natural setting along Bulow Creek. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, especially Alycia, who goes above and beyond in customer service. However, some visitors have noted issues with the clubhouse accessibility, maintenance of certain areas, and noise disturbances from other guests, which detracted from their overall experience.

UPSIDE: Gives that old Florida plantation feel. Lots.of huge oaks and hanging moss.
DOWNSIDE:. Clubhouse is rarely open, laundry room inaccessible for the handicapped.

The best cabin we have been in since we started our Thousand Trails membership. Great campground with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Encore Bulow RV Resort in Flagler Beach, Florida, is a modern RV park built on historic land that was once part of the Bulow Plantation, a 19th-century sugar plantation whose ruins (like the mill and mansion foundations) are now a state park adjacent to the resort, offering a blend of resort amenities with historical echoes from the plantation era. Owned by Equity Lifestyle Properties and part of the Thousand Trails network, it provides full hookups, cabins, activities, and a natural setting along Bulow Creek, attracting visitors seeking Florida's coastal beauty and history.
Historical Context:
Bulow Plantation: The land was a significant sugar plantation in the 1800s, known for its production and later conflict during the Second Seminole War, when it was burned, leading to the plantation's demise and ruin.
Coquina Ruins: Today, visitors can see the coquina stone foundations of the plantation's mill and mansion at Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park, a short distance from the resort.
The Resort Today:
Location: Nestled near Flagler Beach, it offers a quiet, wooded environment with mature trees and access to Bulow Creek.
Ownership: It's part of the Encore/Thousand Trails family, owned by Equity Lifestyle Properties, and offers seasonal and annual stays.
Amenities: Features include RV sites (some concrete, some grass), cabins, a pool, laundry, mini-golf, a dog park, fishing, and pet-friendly facilities.
Nature: The park is known for its natural setting, with small alligators and abundant wildlife in the creek.
Connecting Past & Present:
The resort leverages its unique location, allowing guests to enjoy modern camping while being steps away from significant historical ruins, offering a unique Florida experience that blends relaxation with a tangible connection to the region's complex past.

Alycia by far is just an amazing customer service person. Yes, she can seem extremely busy, because she is always working extremely hard. She just goes above and beyond the job. She has gone out of her way to help me more than once, when she could’ve just said sorry and have a great day and she would’ve been technically doing her job but no she went out of her way to even call me back to help me and get the information that I needed. It is very hard nowadays to find anybody to do their job let alone go above and beyond on several occasions. And I must also say the other girls in the office are very nice. And as far as location, it is just beautiful just the look of an old-fashioned Plantation with the big beautiful trees, It is absolutely gorgeous and very well taken care of. I will be back.

My wife and I stayed here from 11/17-23. This is the first time we stayed more than 1 night. This place is good. Sites are decent but as you walk around the "resort" there are areas where it resembles more of a rundown dumpy trailer park than a rv "resort". Unfortunately we have found this true in a bunch of Florida Encore parks.
There are sites where people have just settled in a trashed the site and there are cabins that are in such bad shape they should be condemned. So-called "Encore RV Resorts" need to maintain their grounds and buildings much better than they do.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but would like these places to have more pride in taking care of the property.

I mostly do the primitive camping here....but I have rented the cabins a couple of times for the not so roughing it times. I've been coming here since I was a Boy Scout in the late 80's. Sometimes solo and sometimes with family and/or friends. Pet friendly for sure. Quiet and peaceful. Plenty of friendly people here as well......
So much for that!?!?!?!!!!!
I had put 5 stars for overall, service, and location.....but U can see how that changed before I even left.
Update to near the end of my stay!!!
So with the entire campground empty....the management decided to drop someone right on top of me....these new visitors....loud...no tent...running their car all night with other vehicles coming and goin till like 3 in the morning. Just to wake to them arguing, threatening, and cursing at each other. So much for a peaceful stay. When I went to the office about it.....they claimed they were going to do something about it. At one point asked me to move......why would I have to do that....I'm already set up.....they don't even have a tent or anything???
I told the office....I'll pick up my camp and never come back. But the management/office told me that they would do something about it.
My new neighbors left....so I thought everything was good......just to see them come roll'n in after the office was closed......now that they're back....their right back where they left off....fighting, loud, cursing.
The management/office didn't do anything and now I gotta deal with them another night cause I stayed believing the office was gonna do something and they never did. What blows my mind is that with the whole campground empty and the office drops these people on top of my camp.....and then lies to me about what they were gonna do.
Foul......and I'll never come back here again.....mainly because of how the management/office people lied to me.
