Salt Springs Recreation Area ended up being a great call. We had to switch plans because of the Georgia wildfires, but it turned out to be worth it. The campground is well laid out, and the full service sites made setup easy. Everything felt smooth right from the start.
One of the best parts was how close everything is. We were able to walk straight to the swimming area, which made the whole stay more relaxed. It is a beautiful spot and easy to enjoy without a lot of hassle.
Only downside was some loud, obnoxious campers who showed up the day after us. That took away from the quiet a bit, but overall it was still a solid experience and a place I would go back to.

Great trip! Found some bedding bluegills in the fishing area just a few yards back from the bench near the woods. Bathrooms were maintained and cleaned. We love visiting Salt Springs!

It was a very relaxing stay, the weather was perfect, although we did not get in the spring water was way too cold for us since night and early morning temperatures were in high 50-low 60. Only thing I would have like that on the side we were in site 33 , they should add a least one dumpster and more doggie station like the opposite side. We will be coming back.

Amazing and immaculate place. Not a bad campsite to be found. Each one is under a perfect live oak with Spanish moss hanging. Everything you need. Including the elusive and mysterious lantern hook. Lol. Great job staff. The park was beautifully kept.

We love coming here for the springs. It was a bit more crowded this time. Sites are well maintained. The office staff and camp hosts are friendly. It is great to be able to receive packages. The store is well stocked.
