Recommend having your grocery needs because other than Dollar General and a small expensive market the closest is about 20 miles away

New company is running this location... I think they are still adjusting, etc. I will say just having a pleasant staff is a major upgrade. Park is always well kept. We love this campground.

Salt Springs is a very clean and well managed park. the RV sites are large and spacious. Picnic tables and fire pit. The camp store sells Ice and most all of the need to have things. The springs itself is very well kept and refreshing. the staff is more than helpful and cheery. Highly recommend AA+++

You can't beat swimming in the clear spring water. The campground was nearly full, but there were no rowdy guests and quite a few families with children. We will return.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Clean, well laid out, full hookup and always a great experience. We wish more state and federal parks were managed as professionally.

Beautiful property and very spacious . Love that you’re not on top of each and the fact there are plenty of trees. Springs are beautiful and there is a nice hiking trail.

We stayed for a week at Salt Springs. The campground was quiet and fairly empty early in the week, but as expected, started to fill up on Thursday and Friday. The restrooms and showers were reasonably clean, well lit and accessible. Quiet hours were not strictly enforced but every one quieted down by eleven or so. The spring is the best part of staying here; it is well used by the campers but there is not much day-use of the spring, so it is not overly crowed and is genuinely a peaceful place to relax. There is a beautiful LIve-Oak canopy next to the spring that provides complete shade on a sunny day, as well as open areas for sun worshipers. There are bears in the park (we saw one), so it is important to keep food locked in your car, secure camper or a bear bag.
