Hi, this is Alan Jennifer Stratmann and we just like to say that Riverside retreat is the best we found all the way across the United States as far as a nice place to clamp and we love Amanda and Glen and kim and everyone else we’ve met even though we don’t know all of their names, we think they’re just wonderful people and you will not find a better place to camp We’re gonna leave a couple pictures so that you can see Blackie , named by our 2 year old great granddaughter, the retreat cat we met and Arnie who is the resident armadillo. Riverside the Heat of the River is a quiet and very comfortable gated RV destination. The RV clubhouse, pickleball court, free laundry facilities, & super clean bath/showers are extra nice! We enjoyed the tranquility of walking in the shade of several acres of beautiful mature palm trees. We did some great fishing from the riverbank & enjoyed the peaceful sunsets from the picnic tables at the edge of the river. The heated pool was always a pleasant escape. If you are seeking a quiet, well maintained vacation spot with upgraded facilities, this is your destination. The sites are smooth, level, spacious, and have newly upgraded RV power pedestals with excellent water pressure. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

Nice Quiet,very clean park. Full service sites. Free clean laundry facilities. Beautiful park. We will be back.

We will be back and plan to stay for a few months! The price is right, the sites are level, the campground is quiet, and the bathhouse and laundry areas are new and well cleaned daily.

We were hesitant in coming because of some of the reviews, but I have always been a check it out for myself kind of girl. I am so glad that we did! This campground is out of the way of all the traffic and hustle of prime beach time. You are behind a gate where you are given your own code to come and go as you please. The setting is peaceful and for the amount of campers staying and coming and going, everyone is respectful of noise and pretty much keep to themselves.

There is a campground side and a retreat side that are kept separate but this never affected us. I'm glad that the retreaters if there were any were not allowed on the campground side and I'm fine staying on our side, as we have everything we need. The pool is on the retreat side, and when I asked for future knowledge if we would have access to it I was assured it would be available to campers.

We live fulltime in our RV and have been to tons of campgrounds and this one is definitely one we will be coming back to. I urge you to try it for yourself. Amanda in the front office will take amazing care of you!
