I really enjoyed my meal except our oysters came out after our meal arrived! The service Jessica provided was fabulous. Very friendly and personable! We also enjoyed the entertainment that was playing on Saturday. Definitely will go back if in the area!

Our friends suggested going on a day trip to Cherry Pocket Steak 'N Seafood.
It proved to be a unique experience. It was my first alligator sighting since moving to Florida four years ago.

The place was full and lively but we were seated immediately outside on the covered deck.

Our server was very friendly and outgoing. Her recommendations were very agreeable. Despite being very busy with other tables our server was most attentive.

The table was very pleased with their meal choices. The food was fresh and tasty.
We enjoyed the view while listening to live music.

We all had a wonderful time. I recommend Cherry Pocket and look forward to another visit.

The food was good for the area, spiced correctly and large enough portions to fill you up when ordering anything from the entree menu. Drink selection is average and bar is pretty ok.

Atmosphere, outside area, patio, outside dining, ramps for easy access, cool merch booth. Great theming and local things everywhere. Very Florida.

Price is on point for entrees but could be a bit less for smaller apps. Drinks are priced exactly how you would think they would be if you went to a local bar.

Desert is actual cake. Like real cake you would get somewhere that bakes cakes, not a diner cake.

Wait staff were playful and happy, generally looked like a solid crew with some trainees getting left to fend for themselves enough to make mistakes but a manager is there to ask if they were ok.

Local regulars seem to literally live there but don't take space like other places around the area. Parking was kinda jank but even during the rush we had spots.

Food was excellent! I had Jed's steak sandwich. The steak was tender and delicious. My wife had the beer battered shrimp. They were perfectly cooked without being over battered. Even the fries and coleslaw were very good. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The coleslaw was definitely made in house. We finally end the meal by splitting a humongous piece of carrot cake. I don't know if it was made in house but it was delicious. We started the meal off with the garlic cheese curds and they got us off to a good start.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem, you have to check out The Cherry Pocket. We finally decided to give it a try after hearing so many positive things about the spot, and being right on the water makes it such a unique experience. We highly recommend sitting outside—the views of the lake and the local wildlife are exceptional. We actually saw Sandhill cranes, turtles, and even a few gators while we were eating, which kept us all entertained. Our daughter especially loved the "crayon star" they gave her; it had all the colors in one, which was a huge hit.
The food was honestly fantastic. I started with a small salad, and that signature cherry dressing was so good I had to buy a whole bottle to bring home with me. I had the beer-battered shrimp, which was lightly breaded and paired with a homemade cocktail sauce that was totally legit. I subbed my fries for onion rings, and the coleslaw added a really nice, sweet, fresh element to the plate. My husband went with the fried grouper and seasoned fries, and he didn't leave a single bite behind. Even our daughter cleaned her plate of chicken fingers and fries!
Our waitress, Sirena, was phenomenal and really made the meal special. Every dish also came with a tasty hushpuppy —they’re a bit on the sweet side, but delicious. My only regret is that I didn't leave room for dessert, because the cakes I saw on the way in looked incredible. We’ll definitely be back soon!
