Tallahassee East Campground

Not a nice experience. Sites are ok but nothing special. We wanted to do wash and out of the seven washers only 4 working and they did not spin to get the water out so had to put the clothes in the dryer (out of eight only two working) soaking wet and I mean dripping wet. Place was dirty and needs repair. When you post amenities and show laundry you should provide a decent facility.
Workers just sitting around not doing anything. Pick up a broom and sweep out the laundry! Well enough said, not a place I would recommend.

Great location, Easy access from 10! We were super to stay the night in our RV but we saw the wagon and ended up staying in it! So cute huge bed, clean good sized bathroom including a nice shower!

Listen, if you’re too uptight, and stuck up to enjoy this place. You may want to evaluate your entire personality. This is a place for family, for memories, to take a step away. The highway being there is just a reminder that you don’t have to worry about that rushing world on the other side of the fence.
If you like it when time was a side thought, take a chance on this good ol’ place. You may be surprised. Some of my families fondest memories are in a small three bedded cabin.
We are grateful for this camprgrounds existence, it angers me that too many people complain about anything they can think of. Ignore the good, if you have any bit of old school in you. Even if you just need a safe place to hang with your family for a few nights, Give this place a shot.

Location is quite a long way from Tallahassee. The tent Location is in the "wetlands" when it rains and very close to Rte 10, which has trucks running 24 hours a day. Launderette was mostly non functional, but if it is not crowded, then you can get your washing done.
Some excellent restaurants in Montichello especially the "Social"... food is exceptional.

We hauled our 5th wheel to this location to watch an FSU game. The drive to the stadium wasn’t too far, about 40 minutes. The lot we stayed in (A1) was very easy to access, clean, and hookups worked well.
WiFi: fast!
Water pressure: really, really low. I’ve stayed in plenty of parks and expect lower than desired pressures to shower but this location was extremely low. I took one star away for this reason.
Surrounding area: excellent to walk the dog, play fetch, etc. It’s well lit for those late night potty breaks.
Front desk, check in/out process: quick and easy. Cathy was AMAZING! She was warm, welcoming, and invited our family up to the front desk area for the following morning to enjoy fresh coffee and her breakfast casserole. Southern hospitality at its best. Cathy, thank you for your kindness!
Overall a nice, easily accessible, clean, and friendly place to stay. We would definitely come back to this location for more home games. Go Noles!
