This has become one of our favorite COE parks. The park is quiet, pieceful, relaxing and truly a wonderful place. The view you get from watching the boats pass through the locks is an added pleasure. The people working here are wonderful as are the guests.
The sites have 50 amp and water. They are paved and spacious. We are so lucky that we were able to experience this place.
Something we found quite unusual was that the park closes at 4PM and they then padlock the gate shut. Another very weird thing was the dump station. It was a huge hole in the ground with a plug in the bottom to drain it.

Lovely campground managed by Army Corps of Engineers. Sites are spacious with picnic tables, fire pits & most have a hibachi style grille. The camp hosts are very friendly and the common areas are well maintained. There are 51 campsites divided into two areas all with water/electric. There are bathrooms & showers in each area, with hot water! There is a few designated fishing spots on the river.

Nice Army Corps campground. Clean showers and restrooms. Very nice hosts. Cool solar cell charging stations in a couple places in the park.
It was cool to watch the boats go through the locks and BONUS…. The otters in the lake and adjoining stream were so much fun to watch.

Clean, emmacutaly maintained campground. Spacious sites. reasonably priced. Nice camp hosts. Fun to watch boats going through the Lock. Highly Recommended.

Quite amazing. Grounds are flawless. Team is engaging, warm and highly effective. Site itself is very nice; level walking areas combined with scenic views of yachts traversing the nearby lock system. We are definitely returning to this one.
