Lake Okeechobee RV Park

A great place to stay in Okeechobee close to the town and the lake. Very well kept with beautiful oak trees. The staff were very friendly. One of the staff members named Mike was extremely helpful and treated me like family. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived at Lake Okeechobee RV Campsite, we knew we were in good hands. Mike greeted us right at the entrance, and it honestly felt like we were meeting old friends rather than checking into a campsite.

This was our first time ever in an RV, and Mike went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident. He patiently helped us back the RV in, walked us through all the hookups, and never made us feel rushed or inexperienced. When it was time to leave, he was right there again helping us break everything down.

Mike and Marie are truly one in a million. Warm, kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring people — the kind you don’t forget. If you’re considering staying here, I definitely, definitely recommend going when Mike and Marie are there. They completely made our experience.

Absolutely amazing couple and an unforgettable stay.

What a great place. Lake Okeechobee RV Park was our very first stop after buying our RV the week before, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I need to single out Mike and Maria—working campers at the resort who could not have been kinder or more helpful. Mike walked us through every step, and thank goodness he was there because we were completely clueless. The service was fantastic, our site was perfect, and we were only about 100 yards from the lake. The Okeechobee bike and walking trails are excellent and I highly recommend them. We really enjoyed this park and are grateful that our first RV experience was at a place with such great staff and support. We’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience!

Maria and Mike welcomed us so warmly from the very first moment. They immediately helped us get settled, assisted with setting up our RV, and even guided us while parking — what a relief! They created such a cozy atmosphere with a campfire, drinks, and great conversations. Truly incredible people.

The sunsets here are simply breathtaking, and if you’re a dog lover, this is an absolute paradise. Friendly, helpful, and heartwarming hosts — it felt like staying with friends.

Highly recommended — we would give more than 5 stars if we could!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this RV Park! Upon arrival, we checked into the Clubhouse Office and was met by LoAnita and her staff who appointed us to our Bungalow and went over everything. It was spacious and immaculate clean. The grounds are also well maintained and up keep. The bungalow has everything you need, all you need is just small things like chips, snacks, water etc. You’re literally sitting on the canal overlooking the beautiful scenery of wildlife, etc. It’s quiet, peaceful, and the residents there are friendly. You can fish, sit on the park benches and just enjoy the serenity. Within driving distance from the RV Park, you can access other points of the lake and get to a grocery store, gas stations, restaurants; whatever you need or want to do if you decide to head out. We had such a great time and our stay was nothing short of amazing and will definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this RV Park. What makes this RV Park stand out from the rest is that they offer the Bungalows to stay in if you don’t have an RV for an affordable price. Thank you so much for a wonderful 3 day/2 night stay!!
