Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach, Florida

We love Sunoutdoors, we bring our camper! So I can't speak on the rental units. They have 3 laundry rooms, 2 pools, 2 lakes, a playground, volleyball area, a corn hole area, several dog park areas. You are only a few minutes from public beach access. Our favorite place to stay in PCB!

We had an amazing stay at Sun Outdoors Panama City Beach! We’ve stayed at other Sun Outdoors resorts before and they continue to impress us with their great service, easy check-in process, full hook-up sites, and incredible amenities.

This resort has everything you could possibly need! Notably an amazing gym, clean laundry and shower facilities, dog wash, basketball courts, pickleball, volleyball, two pools, a mail room, and even a small shop at check-in. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and very family-friendly.

One of the coolest parts of our stay was that our site backed right onto the zoo. Waking up to lions roaring, monkeys howling, and birds chirping was such a unique and unforgettable experience!

We ended up extending our stay and moved to one of the lake view sites for the second half because our original site was booked. It was just as beautiful and gave the kids even more room to run around and play. They also loved spotting all the little green lizards around the resort which became their favourite part of this resort!

The location is also excellent with endless family fun nearby. We visited the zoo (of course), WonderWorks, and spent time at the beach. There’s so much to do close by!

This Sun Outdoors location is an awesome spot for families and we would absolutely stay here again

We love sun outdoors in PCB. It's one of our favorite campgrounds to go to in Panama. Its close to the beach, the zoo (you can hear the animals and sometimes see the giraffe poke their heads over), and so many other area attractions are close by. Some even in walking distance or a short drive. We love the pirates island mini golf which is just down the street from the campground. Some of our favorite things is the shaded sites that have really nice paver stones, the ones by the lake are for motorhomes (which is a bit sad as I would also like to be on the lake, but we often stick on the row right after those and still get a lake view). They have two pools that are both maintained well, the one with the waterfall and not the hot tub seems to be the most popular one. The laundry is always clean when we go. Their bathhouse is typically very nice, only one time did we go and it wasn't clean. Love the dog wash, that dryer has some power to it and got my double coated husky and collie dry quick. We are going to be there again in one week and I can't wait to go back. Dog parks are well maintained and I like the dog water bowl and the scrubber attacked to it to clean the bowl between uses. Despite being close to a main road, the noise level is very quiet.

It's a nice RV Park, but we had several issues during our week stay. First it was dog crap left on our site that I stepped in immediately exiting the RV. I notified management and it took more than 24 hours before it was cleaned up. The WiFi is terrible even the Premium service they offer at an extra cost. And the biggest problem was people walking their dogs through our site on several occasions, one guy let his dog come right onto our patio. People are so disrespectful! The best thing we enjoyed was one of the pools.

This is by far our favorite campground near the beach. Although I wish it was on the beach, but its close enough. Its centrally located to a lot of area attractions. The sites are spacious, its quiet, and well lit without being overly bright. I love the controlled entry. Some sites are very shaded and others are full sun. You can hear the animals from zoo world randomly but its not loud. The pools are clean, the hot tub is nice, all the amenities are great. Pickelball, volleyball, basketball, playground, and dog parks are clean and well taken care of. They also have a fish and release pond. Bath houses are clean and well taken care of. We love this place, its why we have been back three times now and will be back again.
