Rice Creek RV Resort

Very friendly RV Resort! Management is very nice and helpful! RV spots are very roomy and easy to back in & out of. Laundromat, heated pool, jacuzzi, party room, pool tables, shuffle boards, corn hole, horse shoes dog parks are all on-site. Grocery stores, dept. Stores, bars, banks, and restaurants all within a few moles. Blocks away from I 75 on 301. Resonable rates and 55+ community.

We cannot say enough about this place. The people were amazing and the activities a hoot. We met some of the funniest and kindest people here. So many wonderful memories, made and will definitely come back.

Had a 3 month old reservation, showed up and another RV’r was in our spot. According to maintenance, they’d been there all week, but the front office knew nothing. The front office, although nice people, had no idea what other spots were truly open. The maintenance crew had to go find another spot for us.

It was very quiet. There was no music or anything loud at all. It was pretty nice. We were staying in a bay with a 42' Class A. On the first morning, we saw some cranes chilling outside of the RV. That was fun. Then that night, the electrical pole turned off. We thought it was part of the RV's many problems but it was the pole. We used an extender cable to another one and that worked. After that, we were turning off the water, and the handle to turn it off broke. It's around half an hour from downtown Tampa and an hour from Sarasota.

We've stayed here twice a year for the last 2.5 years and we were starting to get concerned with the looks and working order of things. With this visit, we are very impressed with how things are shaping up. The resort looks cleaner, and you can tell Valarie and Rich have been working hard at making improvements, with more improvements to come.
