We have always loved Juniper Springs and have been camping her for the last 50 years. Apparently, it is now though on the lowest level of the budget list as it is in such disrepair. All of the boardwalks and most bridges over the springs are closed. At least the pool spring is still open as many were enjoying it. I've never seen it this bad, maybe the Park Service is letting it go back to nature? I don't know, I hope it gets help soon.

We had a great time at Juniper Springs camp grounds. We will be back next year. I finally went on the kayak run, it was great. My self and friends really miss the board walk along the Juniper run.

Site description discussed that some trial maintenance was being performed. It should state that all trails are closed. The facilities need a lot of maintenance for trails and the wood surround for water faucets.

We always enjoy going to Juniper Springs. We were there March 2024 the campgrounds were in good shape. However the hiking trails were in need of repair. We enjoyed swimming at the springs and took the 7 mile kayak trip. The campsites and restrooms do not have electricity available but that brings out the real campers and meeting other campers is easier. We also went down the road to Silver Springs and visited there with its park, glass bottom boat tour and boat rentals.

I enjoyed our camping adventure at Juniper Springs. There was just enough space for the two tents as allowed. If you intend to have more guests in your party than two tents, you can always rent the space closest to your original rental. The ground was clean of trash and unnecessary debris. The springs were in walking distance. The bathroom had clean showers with hot water and running toilets. Each rental area had a picnic table and metal fire pit. The front office has firewood for sale, but I recommend bringing lots of firewood before you enter. Check out is at 11am, but I suggest having your rental area cleaned out by 10:30am and check out at the actual front office by slipping your card in a check out box by 11am or a grounds keeper will come and yell at you that you’re late, LOL.
Overall, I would camp here again.

Our overall experience was good. Beautiful campgrounds with decent sized sites and some with fair privacy. Check in and employee interaction was good.
My only complaints are for restroom cleanliness and boardwalk closures. I realize that boardwalks need repairs after years of use and hope a rebuild is in the parks future plans. Access to the springs, pools and creek are important.
The campground restroom was not adequately cleaned during my stay. A plumbing leak also made the problem worse. However it was spring break and the campgrounds were full so the bathrooms were heavily used.

Our family has been visiting/camping Juniper Springs for over 50 years and every time we visit we have a great time, and this time was not exception. It is unfortunate though that the dive platform has been blocked off and that the nature path/board walk has not been kept up and is now closed. It is also sad to see the "children's" area has been removed, there is no where that small children can stand and play in the water. If you plan to visit during the week, be sure to bring food and snacks as the snack bar/store is not open during the week.

We really enjoy this campground. The bathrooms were clean for as busy as the campground was. I was sad that large, heavy tarps were tied to the trees on multiple sites. There were also 3 and 4 tents on those sites. We were able to get a site away from those groups and it will not detour us from returning to the campground.
