Canoe Creek RV Resort, St Cloud, Florida

I've lived in St. Cloud near Canoe Creek Campground for 44 years. Under new management, Garber Communities, I have seen vast improvements on the amenities in this resort that were long in coming. It is clear to see that the new management team is striving to make Canoe Creek Campground a resort that will be attractive to it's residents and visitors from all over. With it's friendly atmosphere, reasonable pricing and close proximity to all Central Florida attractions I highly recommend Canoe Creek Campground.

This camp ground is no resort. Be careful with office staff, they hand write still no modern park management system, always get a receipt and make sure they note what its for (ie. Utility Deposit, Rent, etc.) It is a very low class trailer park with models dating back to the 1970’s mixed in with a poor attempt to update it. Amenities advertised were not all present (fitness center, recreation is seasonal) We noted electrical issues, flooding and major non compliance to local codes regarding the dated electricity, septic infrastructure and condemned park models and existing additions/tents put on not to code on many of the older models. Showers and restrooms are not ADA Compliant, standard narrow stalls with no way for a wheelchair to roll into the showers! Do not recommend! No wifi or modern amenities, the shuffle board court lights were original to 1970’s. and poor park lighting throughout. Management was not properly trained on operations of a park, no licensed community manager onsite. Discriminatory application process (they claim 55+ but lots of much younger and troublesome neighbors in the front of the park). Witnessed guys climbing over the park fence and cutting through the property at night from Canoe Creek Rd, felt unsafe at night, very dark and out of the town limits. You get what you pay for here, buyer beware!

The managers are very friendly and helpful l. Very quiet and clean place. Met a few neighbors they are very friendly. Great site.

We had a great 2 month stay! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Park is improving the grounds and amenities weekly. New pool is being dug as well. Very close to shopping and restraunts. Would recommend staying here!

What a wonderful hidden surprise! Recently under new experienced ownership, this park provides a lot for the guest with a focus on recreation—BIG Rec room with ping-pong, pool, weights and machines, TV, couches, tables, games... Outside there are courts for pickleball, shuffleboard, croquet, bocceball and a putting green. A separate building holds a large banquet room with a huge, complete kitchen.
But the bathrooms are great! Large, with many stalls and showers that are really clean.
A mix of RV sites, long-term residents, and vacation rentals.
Rural, yet close to shopping and historic downtown St. Cloud.
Steve and Vicky are wonderful hosts! And Cindy keeps it spotlessly clean.
