What Guests Are Saying
Panhandle RV Resort has potential, with some guests noting improvements under new ownership, a quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff. However, concerns were raised about cleanliness, safety, and space for families, as well as issues with pests and unsavory residents. Overall, while some guests found it satisfactory, others felt it lacked family-friendly features and adequate maintenance.

My husband is working out of town so we bought a camper to be able to come stay with him- after researching many parks we decided to go with Panhandle RV resort. My husband went down first and told me it was rough, but we came down the next day and rough is an understatement. We have a 6 month old and a 3 year old. The grass was grown up, you could reach your hand out both sides of the camper and touch the camper beside you. There was absolutely no room for the kids to play out there besides the dirt road driveway and people fly on it. Not to mention, I went to my car first thing the next morning and stepped it dog poop. We didn’t have our dogs with us. Needless to say, if you have kids or a family- this is not the place for you. I went and looked at a campground 15 minutes down the road and immediately decided we were moving. They did refund of $325 of the $500 we paid for the month but it took 2 weeks to do so and multiple calls. My suggestion is to ride through and see the campground before paying.

Residents in the lot in front of ours to ours asked if we knew where they could score some crack. Residents behind us busted Corona bottles in the driveway and our dog cut her paw open on it, costing us $650 for snitches. There are ticks, fleas, flies, ants and gnats everywhere, really bad, even for Florida. Probably because there is trash thrown and left outside of the dumpster. I cleaned it up several times before giving up. The bathrooms have feces on the outside of the stalls.

It's a OK place. When we were there they changed owners. New owner's were starting to make improvements. They seamed nice. I actually was and am extremely ill and they were kind and worked with us at that time. But at the same time there were a few questionable people that live there 🤔 . One unfortunately caused us stress. Other than that it was nice, quite.
