The campground was clean with a wonderful view of the lake. The rest room was a bit far and uphill. We hope to stay there again.

The CAMPGROUND is very nice. The camp hosts/ managers were extremely helpful, pleasant, and caring. We have a small pop up camper and we stayed on site 23. This site should not be used as a camp site. No matter how small your unit is and how you are able to pull in, you are sitting right out on the road where cars are constantly passing right in front of your door. We could not sit in front of pur camper. Also, I was very surprised that there is only one bath house for all the sites to share. We have been in other small campgrounds and there was always at least 2. In spite of all this we had a nice visit. The proximity of the site to the water was great and the swimming beach was also very nice. I would definitely come back there but only if I could have a different site.

Hated there were no washing machines and dryers and I felt like the gate attendants were very stressed out especially the sat before the 4th and they took their frustrations out on people they didn’t need to. If the gate is not locked until 10:30 and I have a visitor at 9:30 I am a 46 year old adult I don’t need someone being rude to my guest and giving them the 3rd degree and bugging us about them leaving. No one was drinking or partying on my site but, the gate attendants couldn’t handle the stress of the day and got rude with people visiting which is unnecessary. When in reality all they had to do is let the park rangers deal with driving around and deal with unruly guest instead of being rude to my guest who were not doing anything wrong and didn’t owe an explanation on why they were visiting as long as they exited before 10:30 and if they didn’t lock the gate and go to bed. My guest were not parked on my site I only had 2 vehicles on my site my guest were in the over flow and no one was drinking or being loud. I have camped on allatoona for years and I have always felt the gate attendants can be very rude at the camp grounds mainly because they are stressed by ridiculous rules they have to try and enforce.
