Loved campsite 46! I would say it’s 50% sunlight and 50% shade. Access to the water was great. My husband fished and I tied a float to a rope to catch some rays in the water. My only complaint is that it’s so far from the bathhouse. We eventually stopped walking to it and just drove which sucks because I rather not be in my car. Especially in the middle of the night, I’m not walking that far in the dark. I wanted to come back to this campsite but now I’m not sure just because of the location of the bathroom. And there aren’t any tent sites closer that I could choose (without being surrounded by RV’s) and I would be missing out on the water access, which is the whole point in going.

Nice COE campground right on the lake with a beach and sites right on the water. Clean, quite and nice. The loops are real tight. We have a 30’ TT and were able to get around easily, but I could see some of the larger rigs having a tough time. Some sites are close, some right on the water and some tucked away. The folks at the gate run a tight ship, but that’s okay. We found it more humorous than annoying. We really like this place and plan on returning for sure!

The park is clean, well maintained and lovely. The camping spaces are comfortably sized, and rigs are parked on level asphalt pads. There are many, many camping spaces right on the water and a nice swimming area well marked.

Just beautiful! Friendly and helpful hosts, private and very shady sites, and on gorgeous Lake Allatoona. We wish we could have stayed longer.
