We will never stay here again. As an Adult, I like to be able to stay out past 10:30 p.m., but, you are not allowed, and, upon check in, they let you know that you will be locked out, no exceptions. We were told this is for our safety, but, then told there is an upper parking lot that, if forced, you can walk into the campground from..... couldn't anyone do that ? .... so, how is this done for my safety ?? We were visiting friends in town and had to leave their home by 9:30 p.m. so we were not locked out. Sites did not have sewer and were tight to get into. Not much privacy in sites. Will not come back to this campground.

Nice campground. I had site 5 for few days then site 33 for 1 night. When I first arrived I thought someone had not cleaned up after their dog, poop was everywhere. But then a flock of geese came up and I realized where the poop came from so you can’t help that. Site 5 Overall good site but close to road. Site 33 was back in a loop and private which I liked better than 5, however, it didn’t look as though it was maintained as well as far as weeds and tall grass but would definitely stay again. One issue is there is (as far as I saw) only one bathhouse and it’s close to the front. People beside me in 32 had children and tent camping so they had to drive every time they had to go to the bathroom because too far to walk. Just FYI for tent campers. Camp host were all very nice and even brought my new site tag to me so I didn’t have to go back up front while I packed up. Very nice👍

- From I-75 take exit 277 and go east on Highway 92. After a mile, turn left onto Hunt Road, which will turn into Kellogg Creek Road. Campground entrance is on the right after two miles.
Payne Campground is accessible from I-75 via exit 277, which connects to Highway 92. The campground is located approximately 2 miles from this interchange.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
