We reserved spot 49 and absolutely loved it. There was only one other spot nearby reserved so we had the entire peninsula mostly to ourselves. The caretakers were very pleasant and helpful and we go back again in a heartbeat.

We checked in Sunday afternoon at 4pm preparing to stay for a week and got a notice on Monday afternoon that we had to be out by Wednesday at 3 pm! I had to live Tuesday night so that I didn’t have to take time off work to be out by 3 Wednesday!

We checked in Sunday afternoon at 4pm preparing to stay for a week and got a notice on Monday afternoon that we had to be out by Wednesday at 3 pm! I had to live Tuesday night so that I didn’t have to take time off work to be out by 3 Wednesday!

We were in site 56 and it was wonderful. The site had 50 and 30 amp service and water. The shower house was clean but was out of toilet paper and had no hand soap. The staff allowed us to change our site. They were very helpful.

Site 38, picked because of the pine trees surrounding it. Apparently this campground was closed for improvements and just reopened after 2 years. The pines are all gone, all of them, around this and other sites, don't be fooled by the pictures. There is not a tree until the woodline. Pictures need to be updated! They should have paid a few hundred dollars to have the bathroom power washed on the inside while closed. Would have liked a shower but hard pass. Pleasant employees were a positive.
