Winfield

We love Winfield campground's one of the cleanest campground's around. Staff is excellent and very understanding we booked 5 nights but only stayed 2 nights out of the 5 due to our business being rained out a few days so we played catch up. We called and informed them and she had everything ready for us when we arrived. Thank you guys our kids enjoyed it.

As usual, we had a great site right on the water’s edge where we kept our boat tied up. Super convenient! The staff at Winfield is second to none as far as being friendly and helpful. We will be returning every chance we get.

What a clean, well maintained, beautiful campground. A hidden treasure. For us, it is better during the week..very peaceful. Seems to fill up with local people and lots of boating activity on the weekends.

We stayed at Winfield campground from August 15th thru the 29th. We love this campground. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We had a issue with our 50 Amp service and the very next morning it was fixed. Can't say enough good things about this campground.

Very nice campground and well taken care of. Most sites have access to the water so you can swim right from your site. The sites are big and many offer beautiful views. There are lots of little ants so make sure you bring spray for the outside of your camper!

The campsites were kept up, looked nice and were a good distance from the neighbors campsite. We will go back!

We keep coming back, one of our top campgrounds. Quiet, well spaced sites far enough out to be away but not too far you have to pack a lunch to go into town. The lake is one of the best for quiet time.

There must have been a yellow jacket nest very close. We spent most of our time indoors trying to get away from the bees. Tried eating outside at the picnic table a couple of times but the bees were terrible. The lake was beautiful and the site has the best view of sunsets.

I Loved the peaceful location. The site was excellent, with a wide pull-thru and an easy path down to the lake. I have rebooked for an end-of-season visit.

We just love Winfield State Park and Nanette and Tanya do a wonderful job of operating and maintaining it. The sites and facilities are very clean and well maintained! We like to go for 3 nights as a getaway to relax. We like to cookout on the site grill, enjoy the water, and walk.
