We had site 2 reserved. When we got there our name was on site 1 and somebody else had site 2. Don’t know if somebody had more clout than us or what but my reservation clearly states site 2.

From Thomson, Georgia, take U.S. Highway 78 west for 6 miles. Turn right on State Route 43 and continue for about 7.5 miles. The park is on the right (look for signs). The park is located on the McDuffie/Lincoln County line.
Amity Recreation Area is accessible via U.S. Highway 78, which is located approximately 6 miles from Thomson, Georgia. Additionally, State Route 43 provides access to the park.

- A confirmation letter is required for check-in; the entrance fee applies to all users.
