Winfield

Great visit

Camp hosts Rickey and Fran were excellent. They are very friendly and knowledgeable campers that are there if you need them but otherwise left you alone. Winfield is our favorite campground because there are plenty of quality sites big enough to accommodate our 35’ 5th wheel and all sites have 50A service.

Site was clean and ready, custodians were very polite and professional always enjoy Winfield.

This campground is very well taken care of. I wish it stayed open year around.

Me and "My Husband" had booked three days to stay on that second night. We had neighbors to move in to the spot 28 and made noise all night long screaming music blasting kids screaming all night long. We could not get no sleep then when we left early the attendant in the office, she didn't even ask. How was I will stay? Why was we leaving early or anything? She just threw her hands for that us like we were some type of help didn't even try to acknowledge the fact that we were leaving early, so our experience was horrible and we will not be back and as a person of color, we will make sure that we pass this along.

Nice campsites with decent shade and privacy.

Normally I would rate 5 stars, but I have never seen the lake so low before. In the week stayed this time we actually watched it drop nearly a foot. The new dump station is much improved.

Wish the park was open thru October!

Even though it was hot, we had a very nice three-day visit. The campground was quiet and peaceful. Facilities were clean and the staff was friendly.
