Winnefield Campground in Appling Georgia is very accessible for all types of RV's and watercraft. It is very family friendly. The attendants Nanette and Tonya are wonderful. They explain everything and are available to help if needed.

We absolutely love Winfield Campground and wish it stayed open all year round! The campsites and landscape are always kept clean and tidy! The bathrooms are always spotless and stocked with everything you need! Nanette and Tonya are the best ever! We love them dearly! They are always there to help you with whatever you need and both are extremely knowledgeable about campground rules and regulations! Please don't ever get rid of them! They are why A LOT of folks keep returning to this campground over and over! They take pride in their work and this campground!

Nice place but we found a lot of roaches climbing on the outside of our camper along with friends in the next site over. We packed up and left

The sites at Winfield are huge! Almost every one is sitting just a few feet off the water. Your nearest neighbors might not even be within shouting distance. There was an almost eerie solitude to the campground. Missing was the morning wave to the fellow camper who had appeared with the first cup of coffee, or the evening stroll around the park by fellow campers. Even on the weekend at near capacity, the park feels spacious and private.

Keep campground open longer. People still want to camp at Winfield after Labor Day.
