Our staff tremendously enjoyed the Lanier Park Shelter area. The dock was readily accessible for the pontoon boats we had made available, and the space accommodated our group very well. One disappointment: Although we paid the reservation fee, I was surprised that there wasn't any posted signage that the space had been reserved. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to enjoying this shelter area in the future with other large group outings.

It was a cloudy, drizzling day so there were very few other people around in the park. We were unhappy to see that the entrance fee had been raised from $5 to $8 per car (embarrassed to make our guests pay that). The shelter was in good shape, clean and the lights worked great. We used the grill and the trash cans, nothing else. It is a beautiful location and the shelter holds a very large group of people. We were very happy with it overall. On a warm sunny day you could do all sorts of water activities all day long.

This is our second time renting this area and we plan to continue to do so every two years for a Club Anniversary. It is private and with doc access to the lake a great place for a gathering.

The pavilion at Lanier Park was perfect for our church group of about 60 people. We have used that facility several times over the years, and we've never been disappointed. The view is great, the breeze off the water moderates even the hot days of August, and the comfort stations located a short walk away.

This shelter is very convenient for our family gatherings ! Very clean and have a huge grill for barbecue and water system and have some outlets also for playing music! Perfect for boat and jetsky dock . I love this place . Itβs been 10 year that we booking this place and never disappointed! Only parking issue if the guests are late!
