West Bank Park Shelters offers a clean environment with beautiful scenery, making it an enjoyable destination. Clean shelter with lovely scenery. My only complaint is the restroom closest to the park was closed. You would think paying for reservation would let you have access to all the amenities.
Thankfully, there is another restroom not too far to the next shelter.

I thought I reserved the same West Bank shelter on the hill as in past years. We already had the grill fired up when another group informed us that we were at their shelter. They expected 70 people. They asked the Ranger to direct us to move to another shelter. There was no identification on either shelter. We moved all our belongings to a smaller shelter as directed by the Ranger. I inquired of the group leaders whether they needed the grill. They did not need the grill for cooking so I extinguished the charcoal fire with four gallons of water.
Now we had no charcoal to cook a midday meal for a crowd. Someone had to leave to buy charcoal. The new shelter was barely adequate. We occupied seating in half of it and our food and supplies occupied the other half. There was no extra room for games or dancing. The grill was smaller so it took longer to prepare the meats for our crowd. While we were there, a large rotten tree fell down next to the shelter. Fortunately, no one was injured. As I finally exited the park, the original shelter was unoccupied.
Recommendation to Park: Create shelter signage to match the online park maps.
Resolution to Self: Before making reservations, I will double-check the shelter in person year-to year for identification, size and safety (no rotten trees).

Amazing venue, nice scenery and we easily fit 70 people in the pavillion. The grills were spacious and we were able to cook up a storm! My only critique is that the bathrooms didn't have any soap in the dispensers to wash up. All in all, "Great value for buck"

We were at pavilion 203. I liked that it was close to the bathroom and a Sandy beach. I would suggest a bigger sign for that pavilion though, it was hard to find from the road. Or family has a good reunion. The only thing I wasn't very pleased with was when an entire other family came to the pavilion that I paid for and just made themselves right at home. So we decided to leave.

The park was full and the park ranger would not let me guests in even after I paid my reservation fee and everything. They did not even let me get my stuff that I had already set up inside. Horrible experience.
