What Guests Are Saying

Cedar Creek RV & Outdoor Center offers a great location for camping, with enjoyable amenities like a creek full of turtles and good kayaking opportunities, making it ideal for family outings. While there were some issues with noise from large day-use groups and reservation mix-ups, the staff was responsive, allowing guests to borrow equipment and accommodating concerns. Overall, visitors found the experience worthwhile, with many planning to return and recommend it to others.

We stayed two nights at Cedar Creek for a visit to Rome. They have very wide rv sites which was nice. Good electric and water pressure. We did have a bit of an issue with reservations, my wife booked for two nights (Friday and Saturday). They put us down for Saturday and Sunday. She did confirm and missed the mistake. So we arrived after hours and had nothing waiting for us. We called and got everything worked out but we were charged an extra $4 for some reason. According to my wife they wanted to put all the blame on her for missing their mistake. Also we were told that we had a Creekside spot which was partially true. There are tent camping sites between the rv sites and the creek and there were campers in the site behind us. So, not totally Creekside. Anyway, pretty decent stay and if you are looking for stopover for a night or two then not terrible.

My mom, two dogs and myself were guests in site 31. We enjoyed a grassy lot with a tree while we called their park home. Their park was very convenient during my participation as a vendor at Rolator Park.

My husband and I had the best time camping 4th of July weekend. We floated down the creek in our tubes and our dog floated down with us. We will definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends and family!

Reserved the kayak rental. It included the kayak with paddle, life preserver, & transportation to the put-in site. Float was about 4h to the camp with a few stops to fish. Nice float with a few small rapids. There are a few points where we got stuck because the creek is low due to lack of rainfall or we chose the wrong side. Great starter trip for kids and saw lots of good fishing spots and several very large fish (bass & trout). Would do it again.

We tent camped here. The place is in a great location. However, at 930 Saturday morning we were woken up by a large group of people tripping over our tent. These people had a day use pass, however, they were setting up 2 campsites beside us. There were 60+ people who not only set up tents, but numerous tables and chairs, grills, their own firewood, and parked in our spot. The rules say that you cannot set up until 330pm. They had a loud service with kids running around and babies crying. Needless to say, it was disturbing. We told the front office who gave excuses. Apparently, the old ownership allowed this but they have taken over and were trying to stop this. These people should of rented a pavilion.

They packed their stuff up at 330pm and left. The staff show how upset we were. The let us borrow the tubes we rented for 24 hours, and have us lead way on our check out.

The creek by the place was very enjoyable. You get to see lots of turtles. Thankfully, that's how we ended our trip.
