Loved my 2 nights of primitive camping site #14. I didn't understand why there wasn't anybody camping this time of the year. The fishing was nice. And the lake has huge bass in it.

We really enjoyed the site! Great views of the lake and everything was well kept. The spots were pretty open and close compared to some other sites so if that is important to you then take that into consideration. I’m looking forward to going back and hiking as well!

This spot is perfect. It's secluded. The lake is on both sides though one side is very steep, the other side is easy enough to get to. There is a trail that leads to a nice fishing area or a good spot to swim. Quiet and clean.

Woodring is our favorite place to camp at, and has been for four years now. It’s beautiful and normally very quiet. There’s a few good places to go swimming with little kids!

This is a great campground! We stayed in the primitive campground, and while I was initially nervous about that (thinking it was going to be very backwoods), it was not what I expected of “primitive”- it was great. Established sites with tent pads, water views, designated fire pits and grills, and even picnic tables. Such a beautiful location, very far from any civilization, making it super peaceful. Right down the hill from all the primitive sites is a great place to swim and launch paddleboards or kayaks.
