Pros: Nice new bathroom, fantastic location next to the Tallulah River! Drive into the site on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of fishing spots.
Cons: Booked campsite 4 which was literally 20ft away from campsite 3. Thankfully we had good neighbors, but I would recommend site 5,7, and 8 if you’re looking for more privacy. Campsite was littered with garbage, even dug trash out of the fire pit. Fire ring was really tall with not enough ventilation, made keeping a campfire alive difficult.
Overall, I would return, but not to the specific camp spot we selected. Still had a relaxing weekend despite some challenges.

Quietest most relaxing campsite I been on with my Geo Pro. Grandson had a great experience trout fishing and then cooking it for dinner. Playing in the river with his new found neighbors. Great kids and family.

I’m 59 years old and have been coming to Tallulah River (Tate branch) since I was around 5 years old. It is and always has been my favorite vacation spot. Now all 9 of my grandchildren says it’s their favorite spot as well. No complaints just compliments!
