Lake Pines RV Park & Campground

My wife and I are on a 10 week road trip, towing our travel trailer. We've stayed at a lot of parks and when we pulled in to Lake Pines RV Park, both my wife and I said "This is really nice!". The setting and property are so pretty and tranquil. After we got parked in our spot and all hooked up, we were looking around and realized how pristine the grounds are. The chapel and event building make you feel like you've traveled back in time 100 years to a simpler time. We were told they hold weddings and events there. We would have loved to have gotten married there, if it didn't live 2,800 miles away! The park was quiet and everyone respectful. We slept well. Thanks for sharing the awesome place you have, Hosts!

I stayed here while my motorhome was being repaired about 20 minutes away - also in Columbus. Cell service was great, atmosphere was great. Other campers were quiet. Fort Benning (Fort Moore?) does firing range drills nearby, so you can hear that in the evenings. It lasted until 11pm both nights I was there. The laundry facility is nice and costs $4.50 for a wash and a dry. Justin was there and took my reservation, checked me in, and made sure I was comfortable - really appreciate that.

We stayed at Lake Pines overnight was just passing thru. The RV park is beautiful during the night with all the lights. Campsite was great and the map gave us great information. The staff were very accommodating. We will stay here again if in the area.

Although their web site says it has wifi hot spots, they do not offer wifi at all. Nov. 2025, still location if fine. Grounds are as well and only one night was needed. Good enough for a $50 30 amp. PT.

My wife and I were attending a wedding. The park is very clean. It is also very hilly [is that a word?] So wear flats and not heals per my wife. Very nice event center with brick and wooden floors. A seperate chapel on-site and a seperate cottage for groom and bride fitting areas. A huge stone gazebo outside of the event center. We loved it all.
