Bald Ridge Creek

Our site was clean, level and well maintained. It was large and offered more privacy than any other campgrounds we've stayed at. The staff was very friendly and made regular rounds keeping a check on the grounds.

Very well kept park. The staff was great! Sites are well spaced and pretty level.

The only thing I would improve, clearing of brush and trees along lake side where are camping spot was. Otherwise it was a peaceful spot!

One of the three bath houses was not even open. Also in the other bathhouses they were missing three shower curtains in the women’s. We were NOT very happy and we are going back there this coming week and pray it will be different

This is our second visit to Bald Ridge Cree. Site 45 offered an awesome view of the lake. Campground is very well kept and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Definitely planning a return visit later this year.

Great experience, weather not bad. Still down one bathroom since they replaced the bathroom in the middle of the park.

Site was a little small for our two tents but otherwise nice site.

We loved Bald Ridge. We went in the late summer. Our site gave us access to the lake. I sat on the Beach every day by myself. I enjoyed the solitude and quiet.
Plenty to do in nearby Cumming.
Our site was level.
Only drawback, sites were on an angle so when you were enjoying your site, you were looking right into the next person's site. They were close.

The camp site was a pig pen, garbage left in the grill and fire pit, the site smelled like sewage that may have leaked out from the camper before, the grass was very high and not cut. garbage thrown in the grass and on the bank of the lake from campers. the bathrooms were disgusting and we were told to bring in your own toilet tissue, My husband offered to mow the grass and the host told us that they do not have a lawn mover, the contractors raised the price and the corp was out of money so they could not afford to pay for the camp grounds to be kept up. I doubt that we will return. we are so disappointed in the way this camp ground has NOT been taken care of. People were making loud noises well till 3 am and nothing was done. As I said my husband offered to mow our area, we as past camp host for the state of Georgia, would never allow our park to be in such bad shape, especially the bathrooms. Though we paid full price and received a site that you could not walk around due to the high grass, garbage thrown in the grass and my lab had a hard time walking in the grass, we also had a handicap site due to my disability , you would think they would have kept these sites maintained so no one would trip or fall. I would like to know how in the world this park ran out of money and why was the park is such a disgrace?

Great time camping, the host were fantastic and lots of fun meeting other campers.
