We enjoy Bolding Mill and it being on the upper end of Lake Lanier (not as much boat traffic). Very quite, clean campground.
Plenty of boat ramp parking. There were two different camp host while we were there. The first couple durning the week was AMAZING!! The gentlemen for the weekend however, was not as nice nor friendly. He made sure to tell any of our guests (family loves to come and cook out with us for the day and take a boat ride), that they had to be out of the campground at 9:30pm and he closed the gates at that time. We do not appreciate this, since the sign only states that the gate closes at 10:30pm. We did not appreciate his tone nor his demeanor. We hope to come back, but since this happened more than once, we will have to make sure he is not the host at our next camping trip. We do wish we had gotten his name, we would recognize him, since this has happened multiple camping trips to Bolding Mill. We may have to start going to a different campground.

We were very impressed with the campground, the facilities and of course the lake views. The camp sites are large and clean and the bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff at the front gate were helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to go back.

Nice campground, clean and places to walk. The lake was way too busy with boat activity for us. The surrounding area was too congested for us (too close to Atlanta).

This is our first camping trip and we absolutely loved Bolding Mill. The roads to get in the park are pretty easy even for a newbie. The grounds are well kept, the bathrooms and laundry area were very cleaned. There is shade in most of the sites, great lake views. Gail and Joe, the gate house attendants were the best part of this experience. They went out of their way to help us as we learned the ins and outs of rv living.

Managers friendly and professional. Very well maintained. We had a beautiful experience. The only difficulty we experienced was attempting to change sites because the managers hands were tied by policy at the top level. They said they could not make the change and it had to be done online or by phone to customer service. However this proved impossible and finally we had to have a ranger do it, by phone at the gate. The "change site" policy has an internal contradiction.
