Duckett Mill is one of my favorite campgrounds! Most of the sites there are waterfront or have water views. The facilities and camp sites are very well kept and the hosts are helpful and knowledgeable. The bathrooms were clean but there is a lack of wall hooks or places to hang or set towels and clothing while showering. There are 2 boat launch ramps near DMCG: one at the campground entrance (Duckett Mill Public Boat Ramp), and another one a couple miles away (Little Hall Public Boat Ramp).

We love Duckett Mill because the staff is truly awesome and the campground is just beautiful and well maintained. All the sites have excellent water views and some in particular have great access to beaches.

Very little maintenance at this campground. The first bathroom dirty for several days, women side had a lot of hair balls on floor in the shower area and toilet paper on floor in the stalls; this bath-house also had a washer and dryer, but dryer was broken - not working. The second bathroom down by the tent camping area also very dirty, this bathroom has stainless steel shower walls which were covered with soap scum and mold, the white shower curtain was covered in black mold. We stayed at two sites and both had concrete parking pads. Several sites in the campground had concrete pads but as with our site there was 3/4 inch mud/sand over a large area of the pad. All sites have NO cleaning as there are pine needles, pine cones, twigs, small branches, leaf debris, gravel and sand everywhere. One site we had reserved had a problem with electrical service, we were told a maintenance ticket was submitted but a week later when we tried to move into that site, still a problem, we got lucky to find another open site. We did like the lake view at both sites.

The site as well as others was not cleaned prior to our arrival. No toilet paper in bathroom.

The campsites are large and private. Sites and amenities were clean. The campground hosts are wonderful. They gave our pups treats at check in and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. It’s nice to see happy and engaged hosts. Both host couples were excellent during our stay. We enjoyed the views of the water from our site and sunsets over the trees from the beach. We would definitely stay here when traveling through the area again. 10/10

This was my first time at a COE park. The sites were large, laid out with individual site privacy in mind, and well maintained. And the views of the lake were great. The park facilities were very clean and conveniently located.
