Nice place on the lake to camp. The biggest negative is the bathrooms. They are in desperate need of major renovations! Dirty showers, little to no privacy, no place to hang or place clothes while showering. One toilet and urinal to service at least 40 sites that include the tent camping area. If you have your own rig with bathroom facilities then it is fine.

Duckett Mill is a wonderful campground. The place is as clean as can be and the views are awesome. The gate attendants are the complete opposite of the typical gate attendants....they are super friendly, nice, courteous and smile! What a refreshing change from most campgrounds!

Beware of aggressive ants! The driveway and trail leading down to the lake is infested with fire ants that have no problem attacking you if you cross their path. Very dangerous and the ant spray we had did not phase them. Other than that our campsite was very nice with great views of the lake and in a quiet cove with access to the water.

The site was raked clean and the firepit and BBQ was also cleaned. The Hosts are friendly and helpful. The sites are a good distance apart. Would recommend.
