Excellent campsites; many sites not on lake have a good lake view; try to see Anna Ruby Falls and the Hardeman Farm, both are easy driving distance

The grounds were very well maintained. Bath houses and laundry facilities were top notch. Love the layout of the sites which provides so much privacy! One of our favorite parks.

The only reason for 2 star rating was our campsite. We stayed at site 5. It was not mentioned in the description that it is a bi-level site. The area between slab and main area is just red dirt. We camped in a 27 ft travel trailer with a slide. Our steps had to sit at the slope down to the pad due to hookups being where the were located. Slab is narrow. While the site was bad the hosts were excellent. Grounds are well kept.

Great campground and sites are on paved surface. Bathroom/showers are central located but far from many sites. Campground was quiet till the weekend crowd arrived. Area seems busy on the weekend with mostly locals. We would stay again. Close to the town of Gainesville and Dawsonville. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Should open this park earlier and keep it open longer . This is a popular fishing and water sports area miss out on some of the best fishing times of the year . Gates should be opened earlier in the mornings in case someone was staying there and had to get out to go to work are school 7:00 am not good .
