Oconee point is a great campground. The sites are roomy and not close together. The only complaint I have is that the volunteers do not earn their keep. They don't clean the campsites well. I arrived on the first day of the camping season and the site had not been cleaned, apparently all winter. The volunteers get choice campsites with full hookups and all I have seen them do for the last couple of seasons is ride around on their golf carts.

Great place to camp. Site 55 was good. Had great beach area for kids to wade in to lake and dogs to rest on. with shade. close to bathhouse. Saw plenty of wild life. Quiet in the evenings. Definitely one of our favorite places to camp!

Great camp site. Bathrooms with showers right behind, swimming area 3 sites down. Also a large fishing area with plenty of shade.

We have been coming to Oconee Point for 7 years and it is one of our favorite campgrounds we visit! The sites are easily accessible to the water and most sites have space between sites which gives privacy. The staff that work as volunteers and the front gate are very friendly and helpful. We usually try to stay in sites 33-40. We noticed since last year that it looks as though they added sand to that area and tried to reduce the amount of scrub bushes on the beach. Each year I try to write a review because we want to keep coming back each year and bringing our grandchildren to enjoy the easy access and shallow water.
See you on the 4th of July!

Nice spot, close to bathhouse and a private circle. Just very windy on the point.

Another nice COE. The workers at the office were extremely friendly and helpful. Site was clean and maintained. Restrooms we clean and stock even after a busy Holiday weekend.

Great campground. Bathroom near site 25 needs to be torn down and a BATHOUSE needs to be installed. All other bathouses need to be updated. Needs more privacy in showers. Curtains don't even cover the openings. A lot of poison oak/ivy throughout the campground.

The view from our site was wonderful! We arrived on Sunday and left on Thursday. The campground was quiet and very clean.
