Beautiful campground. The campground hosts were wonderful and great to chat with. It would really help if they carried firewood for sale at this campground like they do at some other Army Corps sites. Had to drive six miles to a local convenience store to buy some.

Well maintained lake Hartwell campground. The sites are all waterfront, spacious, and clean. Not many people during the week. Definitely will return.

Oconee Point is our very favorite place to camp. Every site is waterfront & it's usually pretty quiet & peaceful!! We thoroughly enjoy taking our kayak out on the gorgeous lake & just enjoying the scenery & water! All of the workers & volunteers are very friendly & informative!! See y'all next year & hopefully for many years to come!! Love Oconee Point Campground!!

Very much enjoyed our weekend at Oconee Point. We were greeted by Carla and her husband upon check in and they were both great. We visited in the Fall so the landscape issues mentioned in some previous reviews were nonexistent or unnoticed. The restrooms/bath houses were in βaverageβ condition relative to other facilities weβve visited. Unfortunately the lake was down quite a bit so our lakefront site was a bit muddy, but the scenery was awesome nonetheless. Our neighbors were all considerate and friendly, and I was surprised how quiet and peaceful the campground was after dark. This is a great campground and weβll be adding this to our rotation.

One of our favorite campgrounds! Most of the campsites are lakefront. We were able to launch our paddleboards from our site. The water levels in the lake are really down this year. There is no sewer hook ups but that doesn't bother us. The campsites are nicely spaced apart and there are lots of trees. This beautiful campground keeps us returning year after year.
