We had such a lovely time at this campground, was the perfect quiet getaway we needed. Bathrooms are very clean, camp sites are well laid out and spaced apart. The lake was perfect! Would highly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed 5 days at beautiful Oconee Point over July 4th weekend 2020. Our site was large, clean, adequately shaded & beautiful...sunset view! We were able to pull our boat up to our site. Everyone was SO nice! The camp attendants were most friendly & helpful. AND, my husband caught the biggest fish of his life! This was certainly a highlight. I highly recommend OP! We will be back!

This is our second year at Oconee Point Campground. Sites are well spaced and level. Most site have a great view of the lake and several campsites have easy access to the water where you can tie up a boat or jetski right from your campsite. The swimming beach looked nice however we did not use it. Great boat ramp with modern dock. Outstanding shower house was always clean. Grounds are clean, well maintained with friendly gate and campsite cleanup staff.
We have visited Hartwell Lake for the past four year and this location is our favorite!

Absolutely beautiful site. Staff was exceptional. Super pet friendly. Overall great experience. If I had any critique it would be to include a dumpster by both dump stations. Certainly manageable now, but would help campers to have an easier check out experience.
