We loved the campground! Very relaxing and quiet, but we did not like the bathhouse with showers. The bathhouse near site 26 was good but the one near the main gate had spiders everywhere. We loved that the check out time was at 2pm.

always a pleasure to visit oconee pt. it usually is peaceful, quiet and serene. the weekends are noisier. we have been going to corp of eng. parks for at least 15 yrs. maybe longer. could not get our usual site which we always stayed in for yrs. somehow most of the sites are booked for a month and a half. no break even a few days. I don't understand how you are only suppose to be there at the most 14days with a break, so how does the site get booked for 7 to 8 weeks in a row.? do they get a lot of cancellations because people book and cancel at will.
the gate host is great, didn't get his name. but, he made our visit enjoyable. the park is clean, we love the trees and tho the water is somewhat down now due to mother nature, you will be glad you stayed.
we have stayed at coneross also. will try twin lakes if I cant get in oconee .

We always enjoy camping at the Corps of Engineers campgrounds. In fact, we haven't camped anywhere else for quite awhile. We like to go for a couple walks each day, weather permitting - the campgrounds are so beautiful.

Nice campground, but the sites need more gravel, less sand. And the bath houses need work for sure the older ones. Over all a good trip, sites large enough and good bike riding.

From Interstate 85 in South Carolina, take exit 11 onto State Highway 24 towards Townville. About 1.5 miles past Townville, turn right onto Coneross Creek Road. Proceed 2.5 miles and turn RIGHT onto South Friendship Road. Drive 3 miles to park entrance on LEFT. 200 OCONEE POINT RD, Seneca, SC 29678
Oconee Point is located approximately 12 miles from US Highway 123, providing access to the surrounding area. Additionally, Interstate 85 is about 25 miles to the southwest.

General
- One wheeled camping unit (RV, Camper, Camper van/truck, etc) per single site and must be parked on impact pad. Tents are restricted to impact pad.
- Off-road vehicles including golf carts, 4-wheelers, motorized or electric scooters/ride on devices are not permitted.
- Only registered vehicles are allowed in the campground. Up to 3 vehicles may be registered per site. All vehicles and boats trailers must be parked on gravel area of campsite or in designated parking spaces.
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- Maximum stay is 14-days within 30 day period. Changing names on a reservation, changing campsites, or making multiple reservations for the purpose of staying over 14-days is PROHIBITED! VIOLATORS MAY HAVE RESERVATIONS CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE. Please do the right thing.
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a leash no longer than 6 feet; pets are prohibited on swim beaches, playgrounds, and in restrooms. You MUST clean up after your pet!
- Maximum of 10 campers per single site. Registered campers are required to occupy campsite and must be 18 years of age or older.
- Gray water (any wastewater from sinks, dishwashing, bathing, etc) or other waste water must be disposed of properly at campground dump station.
- For campfires, use only dead wood gathered from the ground and contain fire in designated fire rings or grills only. Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Don't movefirewood.org for further information.
- Keep your campsite and campground clean. Keep your trash contained and frequently remove trash from campsite (dumpsters located within campground). Do not leave litter in fire ring or on campsite upon check out.
- Inflatables including water slides, jumping houses, etc. and/or carnival type rides/events are not permitted.
