Springfield is our home away from home. Hate that the trees had to be cut a few years back. Really miss our shade on site 27. Site 42 needs some attention on the cement pad . It is very uneven in spots. Really is a fall hazard. Also maybe add a light on back side of restrooms at site 42. Thanks.

It is a beautiful campground. The only problem I had was NO door on the men’s comfort station. There was a screen door to keep wildlife out but NO door to keep the cold air out. Taking a shower was chilly. I was at the campground for 3 nights and did not see any work being done on that bathroom closest to campsite 25. Unacceptable…. ☹️

Great sites, level and spaced out. Two dump stations to help expedite departure. Bathrooms were clean, but they are getting some age on them. My biggest complaint is the fact that no one enforces the leash rule. I’ve been there three times this year and two of them I’ve encountered multiple dogs off leash. I don’t care how friendly someone thinks their dog is, it needs to be on a leash period!!

We are tent campers and though our site (#17) was nice, there was very little shade. Most sites here offer little to no shade and no privacy. In warm months this would be a deal breaker. The bathhouse near us was average but others were very run down. The campground was pretty quiet and the sunsets were amazing. For RVs this would be a great spot.
