What Guests Are Saying

Andrew's Cove Campground offers a charming setting with good spacing between campsites and a picturesque creek running through it, making for a pleasant ambiance. Many campers appreciated the proximity to hiking trails and the nearby town of Helen, with some sites being particularly peaceful. However, there are concerns about road noise, the condition of facilities, and issues with reservations, which detracted from the overall experience for some visitors.

Campsite was a great location, plenty of shade and a creek runs through the center. Previous campers had left garbage hanging so we had to dispose of it, this campground has chemical toilets and does not feature garbage cans.

This campground has good creek side locations. We hardly were bothered by bugs. Definitely bear activity here so pack in and out accordingly. Fire right was okay but half buried. Our site also had a few roots through the tent pad which may make it uncomfortable for others to use. There is 1 single bathroom that has no sink and is a Latrine type toilet. It is located towards the back of the campground and IS NOT the larger building.

Avoid campsite 1 at all costs. The fire ring is in the corner, sunk into the dirt and barely usable. There’s no lamp hook like other sites have.

I cleaned out the fire pit to make it usable but it’s not conducive for sitting around a fire.

Accessing the site by car is sketchy with a high clearance. The roadway droops severely and only only very carefully planned entrance will keep you without bottoming out.

There’s lot of road noise. Lot of headlights. It’s close to the road.

The water drowns out a little but not much.

Overall, with the exception of the new pit toilets the camp feels neglected and forgotten about. I was not stay there again nor would I recommend it.

A rv'er decided they needed a generator all night and their dog to bar incessantly all night in conjunction.

I delt with it fine enough.

Nice little campground. I was afraid the road noise would be worse but it’s actually better than Desoto Falls (except for campsite 1). Good spacing between campsites. The creek was a nice touch… but not deep enough for fishing.
