This is one of our favorite campgrounds. The sites are great, the bathhouses are immaculate. Tons of hiking trails in the area. My only wish is that they'd stay open year 'round!

Beautiful location! The hosts and managers were great and hospitable.
There was some sort of animal ruffling through our campsite at night, but we didn't get a glimpse of what it was.

Space was away from others but near bathroom. The picnic table and fire pit need upgrading

Ive been camping here for decades. It is sad to see that lack of proper funding is causing quick degradation of the trails, campground and beach. The beach has little sand. The roads in the campground need repair. The camp hosts were excellent and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and pleasant. Nearby, the city of Clayton has some great restaurants.

The campsites are well kept and have lots of space, bathrooms are cleaned often. The Manager an his wife drive by often to see if we need firewood. Camp hosts are also very friendly told us some of best hiking and waterfalls. Road to get there was very narrow but lake was beautiful.

The tent campsites had a good amount of space. Bathroom with a shower nearby & they were nice & clean. Park staff were friendly. The area in general is beautiful. Very close to Angel Falls. It was about 20 minutes to Hillside Orchard & 25 minutes to Clayton where there was stores & restaurants. We loved it!

This review pertains to Loop 2. Loop 1 is without electricity, but is a far better choice.
The campground sites are WAY too close; it's like camping in a Walmart parking lot. WE booked 3 nights, but left after the second night.
