What Guests Are Saying

Ogeechee Crossing Park is praised for its spacious, shaded campsites and well-maintained facilities, including clean bathrooms and a professional disc golf course. Visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere and helpful staff, who even provide local information and gifts. However, there are concerns about mosquitoes, lack of sewage at individual sites, and the potential for flooding after heavy rains.

“If you build it, they will come”

When the disc golf course has its own driving range you know it has some long holes!

Multi layouts for holes
Clean
Bug spray provided
Best signage on a DG course I have ever seen

Not a beginner course, definitely a big arm course, tournament caliber course.

If that’s what you like come on down and check it out. Pretty new course but

“If you build it, they will come”

Definitely an interesting course. Really glad they built it

Very nice course! One of the most challenging ones I’ve ever played! Proud of my home town!! Course was very well kept and clean! Very impressed!! Bug spray provided! Look out for the spider webs! They were plentiful! Way to go Louisville!! Keep up the good work!

We stayed here in our 34' motorhome over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were one of two campers in the entire county owned park.

Great accomodations with electric and water with level sites, all pull throughs that are 100' feet long with tall trees. Fire was stacked at each site. Very quiet.

Great bathrooms and showers nearly new. Nice park with playground, picnic tables, garden and professional disc golf course.

Adjacent hiking trails and outdoor classroom.

Be cautious of potential alligators in the rivers but we saw no indication of them.

Robert helped us with camp registration and visited with us while we were there and even gave us a brochure of the area and a gift of fresh pecans!

What a hidden gem!! This was a great Park and we will definitely be back someday! The sites are a good size and good distance apart and I believe almost all of them are very shaded. When we went there was only one other camper there and we never saw the person staying in it at all. The butterfly garden, pavilion, and gazebo at the entrance were very nice but we didn't use them while we were there. We were so excited about the disc golf course, but never did go play it. The workers there cut up a whole bunch of wood and leave it scattered all throughout the park for everyone to use! We were pleasantly surprised by that! The bathhouse was surprisingly clean (besides the dead bugs laying around but that is to be expected). The only downside to this Park at all was the fact that there is no sewage at each site, only the dump station. You definitely have to get a portable dump tank unless you want to haul your whole set up to the station every time. Then, on the last day as we were packing/ cleaning up, I pulled what I thought was a trash bag my hubby had tied to the water turn on/off valve, off and inside was a cup with some mints, stickers, maps and other papers with local info!! We stayed there nearly 2 weeks and never even saw our gift they left!! Definitely recommend to anyone who will be nearby needing a place to stay!! Thanks to Jefferson County officials!

Best disc golf , worst mosquitos and nats in Georgia. Don't go after hard rains, the creek swells over but still a great long course.
