We've been camping for more than 30 years and this by far was the best experience we've had. Not only is Victoria Campground a well-kept beautiful place to camp, relax, and enjoy all that it offers, the contractors/rangers are incredible. Roy, Misty, and Rangers assisted us and our camping buddies through an extreme and serious situation as well as the Rangers. They made sure we had what we needed to get through it and still have a nice stay that was initially a 5-night stay that turned into a 12-night stay. THANKS Roy, MISTY and Rangers for all you did.

We were on Site 13 in a 40’ Class A. The site was off level both front-to-back and side-to-side but we made it work with boards under the appropriate wheels and jacks. Extremely long driveway offered good privacy; pavement was pretty broken up, but passable. Beautiful view of lake, marina off to the right (visible from site) was closed for the season so it was ultra quiet. All campground roads were in very good shape. Bath house was surprisingly clean over 4th of July weekend, kudos to the staff on that. A few yahoos with fireworks, but law enforcement was pretty quick to shut them down. Again, kudos to staff. No soap or towels in bath house, not even an air dryer. I guess washing up after using the lab isn’t a priority. Nor was there any hook to hang a bag on if you brought your own. Staff was very friendly and grounds were reasonably well maintained. Loved that there was great access to shopping and restaurants, yet it felt like we were camped far from civilization. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hosts are Wonderful
Sites are big
Most are very shady
Good place to walk your dog or ride a bike
Not far from a dollar general or a Walmart
No hiking trails
Can swim or boat right from your site
Nearest boat ramp closed by the Corp this year so kind of inconvenient to launch your boat without 2 people one to drive the boat to the campground the other to drive the truck and boat trailer back to the campground
Boat launch that the Corp did not close is not close to the campground
Beach area is ok but could use some upgrading
Restroom/bathhouse is older but extremely clean
Sites are level and are asphalt with gravel
Good cove for kayaking
Can also do some fishing
Can see wildlife lots of deer in the campground saw turtles in the water and a big Herron in mornings in the cove
Sunset grill within walking distance right outside the campground at the marina
