The camp hosts were great and the bathrooms and site were very clean. However, we camped in a tent directly across from the boat ramp and people were pulling up their boats one after the other until about 2am in the morning. They were playing super loud music, too. So, we didn't sleep at all. I think this is probably a campground better suited to RVs or people sleeping inside something other than a tent. Perhaps another location in the campground would be better for those in tents. I would not recommend.

Very good park staff. We love Ranger Cheeks and his wife and there 3 dogs. Kid loved it and will more than likely come back for many more years

A very enjoyable camp ground to stay at. Sites are clean and well maintained. The only negative is the gating of the camp ground from 10PM until 7AM.

The Camp Host was rude from the time we drive in, and every other camper that we talked with said the same thing.

Of course the sites along the lake offer a fantastic view. I was surprised at the size of the camp sites. They are all large and with lots of trees, it feels private. This location is convenient to Atlanta, the braves games, the north Georgia mountains and many local attractions.
