First, let me say I had a great time at Victoria Campsite. The only reason I gave the rating a 4 is, I am a newbie solo camper and generally rely on the campground hosts to assist me with help if needed. I was told the camp host, could not assist due to the changes in the staff rules and policies. While I know that isn't their responsibility and to be fair, it was a busy time of check-in. However, I had a mishap getting into my campsite with their water drainage locations. I admit it was my fault and the host and community did come to my rescue to get me out of my predicament. I was very grateful and will go back again to Victoria campgrounds...next time with more awareness of my surroundings. Overall, I highly recommend Victoria Campgrounds to those looking for a restful experience.

Beautiful spot. Would have been hard to find without GPS.

Well maintained. Great for satellite reception. Have to cross elevated railroad track to get there - beware fifth wheelers.

I went on the last few days of the season. The campground was pretty great. I like that the areas are spaced out. Only thing that I would say needed improvement was the monitoring of the bathrooms. The men’s room was pretty bad in the morning.

Very nice campground. Beautiful spot on the lake. Clean well maintained sites. Some more level than others. I do wish they would not lock the gates at night from 10:30 to 7. Would also love to see them add sewer to all the sites. Please extend your season.

Beautiful wooded site. Quiet and peaceful. The only drawback was there was no sewer hook-up.

Bathrooms were outdated with rusty faucets and fixtures and dirty appearance of shower stall. Secondly, closing the gate at night presented a significant concern due to need to exit in the night with a medical urgency. It took the grounds host a little too long to wake up and then get the exit gate opened.
