The campground itself was great. Beautiful & not on top of each other. The woman & man checking in people are ok at best. Showed me a map with directions to my site. When I figured it out it was too late. The map was upside down. Why can’t you all give maps out?

Spot 24 is perfect, it is level and right on the water. You have a lot of space and what seems like a private rocky yard behind your camper. You also get a magnificent breeze. The campground is very quiet and is located on a very private road that ends with the campground / marina so no thru traffic going by. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights at this campground recently for the first time and I won't be recommending this to friends/family or returning myself. The bath houses were really dirty, especially the shower stalls with dirty, moldy shower curtains. They can pick some new ones up at Walmart for super-cheap. There were no soap dispensers at the sinks, which is really unacceptable in these Covid times or really anytime. I am not expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I have stayed at many campgrounds that far surpass this one for basic sanitary conditions. The campground itself has no directional signs directing you to the campsite numbers, so driving around at night in the dark trying to find your campsite was quite challenging. There were no copies of the campground map available to take with me. I did take a picture of it, but it was difficult to look at it on my phone while driving around. There are too many other lovely state park campgrounds to visit instead of giving this place another chance.
