Kumu camp was our favorite place we stayed during our recent trip to Kauai! Wished we had been able to stay longer and would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in a bungalow and the views were absolutely stunning and certainly not something I would have anticipated being able to access at such a good value on the island. We had no issues with noise except for the lovely sounds of the waves.

Very convenient location to Kapaa and all the beautiful north shore beaches. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing place! Great staff! Clean air! Even some occasional surf out front for long boards, boogies boards and foils!! I’ve spent a total of 10 nights here on two trips, both camping and in the #2 room. 5 star for the priceless beach location, clean rooms, mellow Hawaii vibe!! Highly recommended!! Going back soon :)

Second time I'm staying here! First time with a tent second time with a bungalow. The second of course is more comfortable but both stays were great. The area is super nice and you are right on the beach. Showers and grill area are fine if a bit sandy and limited. Of course you dont have all the amenities you get in a hotel but for a camping sight its nice. Again the best attribute of this camp is the location, right on the Anahola beach. The dawns are so beautiful and you can just dive right into the ocean anytime you want. Definetly recommend

We absolutely loved our stay at Kumu Camp! We arrived with a rooftop tent car planning to stay for just one night, but ended up staying for three. During the Kona storm, this was one of the few camps that remained open and accessible, providing a safe and reliable haven.
The facilities were great. The hot showers were a huge plus and everything was kept very clean. While there was only one sink available, it was never a real issue. We managed to get a spot with a direct ocean view every single night, which made the experience feel incredibly private and peaceful, as if we had the coast to ourselves. Highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone visiting Kauai!

We enjoyed 4 days of camping in Kauai here at Kumu Camp. We had a rooftop camper and reserved a basic camp site. We loved the place. The men’s bathroom was sometimes out of toilet paper - luckily we brought our own.
Hot showers were a huge plus.
The campground is well maintained and is a safe place. It would be a great place to revisit someday with family.
Mahalo to the staff at Kumu.
