Visitors enjoyed the unique experience of camping, even in rainy weather, and noted the park's beauty during events like the Survivor 50 Idol Hunt. Stopped here on our day trip around the island. This seems like a great place to be outside and enjoy a beach. It was a Thursday afternoon and it was not busy! Beautiful sandy beach and tons of shade and places to lay out or sit. The bathroom facilities was good. Honestly I can’t stand the crowds so if I ever stay on Oahu over the other islands I’d probably pick this area to stay away from crowds of Honolulu and north shore area.

Awesome place! Just like most spots on beautiful Oahu 🙃 We stayed there from February 20th to the 22nd, and it poured rain the whole time, so it turned into more of a survival-style camping trip, which honestly added some extra excitement. Despite the weather, my family and friends really liked this campsite, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

I went for the Survivor 50 Idol Hunt! What an awesome location ❤️ the park itself was beautiful with clean beaches. It was the perfect location chosen for this event and I was happy to be a part of it. One day ill get over to goat island too!

This is bird sanctuary right off the park during low tide. You can get out there by Swimming. I think you might even be able to walk out there. There is a trail on the island. It’s pretty small but it’s really beautiful.

Beautiful hidden gem. We came in January and am not sure if it is busier in the summer season. There was a lot of flies but so pretty and worth the drive.
